This page explains what Mrbooshmaster keeps about you, why, for how long, who else can see it, and what you can do about it. It is written from what the site actually does, and it is short because the site keeps very little.

Who is responsible
Mrbooshmaster is run by the artist whose work it shows. He is responsible for anything the site keeps about you. Write to mrbooshmaster@gmail.com about anything on this page, or reach him through his page on SubscribeStar.
Who this applies to
There are two kinds of visitor. If you only look, the site keeps nothing about you: it sets no cookie, runs no analytics, shows no advertising, and loads nothing from anybody else's servers except the pictures themselves. Almost all of this page is about the second kind, the people who sign in.
What the site keeps, why, and for how long
You sign in with SubscribeStar or Discord. There is no password here, because the provider does the signing in and then tells the site who you are. Everything in the table below exists because you chose to sign in, and it is kept for as long as the last column says.
| What | Why | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| What your provider tells the site about you: its identifier for you, your display name, your picture, and your email address | To sign you in, and to show your name and picture beside anything you say | While your account exists. Refreshed every time you sign in, so there is no profile to edit here |
| One cookie, and a record of each time you signed in | So the site knows it is still you, and so that signing out ends it everywhere at once | The cookie lasts 30 days or until you sign out. The records stay behind afterwards: nothing removes them yet |
| Whether you support the artist, if you signed in with SubscribeStar: what you may see, that the platform said so, until which day, and when the site last checked | To show you the work that is kept for supporters | Until the day the platform said your support is paid. Checked again only when you sign in through the platform |
| Your likes: you, the piece, and when | To count how many people liked a piece. Nobody is shown who | While your account exists |
| Your comments: the words, when you wrote them, when you last edited them, and whether they were taken down | To show them under the piece, to you and to everyone else | Kept, even after they are taken down, so a mistake can be undone. The artist can see every comment, including the ones taken down |
| Notifications: who answered you, about what, and when you read it | To tell you when somebody answers you, and to tell the artist when somebody says something | Ones you have read are cleared after about 30 days. Unread ones stay until you read them |
| Who administers the site, as a short list of provider accounts | To run the site. Only the people who run it are on the list | While they run it. The list is kept where the site itself cannot change it |
What the site deliberately does not keep
Supporting the artist happens on SubscribeStar, and the site asks it one question: does this person support the artist, and until when. It does not keep, and cannot show anyone:
- what you pay, or in what currency
- card or payment details
- your payment history
- your address
- any key that would let the site act on the platform as you
- when your support began, or the platform's own numbers for your subscription
- anything about your support for anyone other than the artist
What is picked up on the way
The server keeps an ordinary log of which pages were asked for and how it answered. It does not record who asked, so nothing in it says what you looked at.
Your browser remembers two small things for itself: which view of the gallery you last used, and where you were in a comic. They never leave your device.
Pictures come from a storage provider rather than from the site's own server, so your browser fetches them from there. The address of a picture says which picture it is, and nothing about you.
Who else sees anything
Everything in the table above lives in the site's own database, on a server rented to run it. The pictures, including the ones only supporters can see, are with the storage provider, and they are the artist's work rather than anything about you. The site sends nothing about you to anyone: no analytics service, no advertising network, no email.
Your provider knows that you used it to sign in here, in the same way it knows about any other site you sign in to with it. Your picture is loaded from your provider whenever it is shown.
Your email address is shown to you on your account page and to nobody else. It is never used to look you up, and the site never sends email.
Your name and picture are shown beside anything you say, to everyone who can read it.
Cookies
The site uses one cookie, and only once you sign in: the one that keeps you signed in. It is needed for that and for nothing else, which is why there is no cookie banner. Refusing it means not signing in, and that is what not signing in already is.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. The sign-in cookie cannot be read by scripts and cannot be forged, and there is no password here for anyone to steal. If you think somebody else has been using your account, sign out, which ends every copy of the cookie at once, and secure your provider account.
Your rights
You can see what the site holds about you on your account page. To correct your name, picture or email address, change them with your provider and sign in again: the site keeps whatever the provider says.
You can have your account removed. There is no button for this yet, and this page will not pretend there is: reach the artist through the top of this page, and the person who runs the site will remove it by hand.
Removing an account removes what your provider told the site, your sign-ins, the record of your support, your notifications and your likes. Your comments are taken down. Whether their words are erased as well has not been decided yet, and this page will say when it has.
A way to do this yourself is planned as its own change. Until it exists, the paragraph above is the whole truth.
If you think the site is mishandling something about you, say so the same way. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Age
The work here is made for adults, and the site is for adults. Do not sign in if you are not one.
